Editing Palette Colors
To change the colors that appear on your palette, follow these steps:
- Select the color to be edited with the mouse.
A frame appears around it on the palette.
- Select Edit color from the Palette
menu.
Shortcuts:
- Double-click on the color to be edited.
- To select a color that you have already used in your
art, use Find color on the Tools menu.
The
Edit Color window will appear.

You
can change the way you define palette colors by checking Dynamic editing
and Important and choosing between RGB and HSV terms.
- Dynamic editing, when checked, will make your
art change dynamically as you edit individual colors, so that you can see
how the changes will affect your art.
- Important, when checked, will require that
the color be accurately rendered, without dithering (approximating
the color).
- Every color can be described numerically in either
RGB or HSV terms:
RGB
As proportions of the primary colors red, blue,
and green
HSV
In terms
of hue, saturation, and value
To toggle between
RGB and HSV, select the appropriate radio button.

Use the scroll bars to change RGB or HSV values,
or change these numbers from the keyboard.

Select
OK to save the edited color.
