Overview of DIB Structure

Windows 3.0 and Presentation Manager 1.2 DIB files consist of the following sequence of data structures:

• A file header

• Bitmap information header

• Color table

• Array of bytes that defines the bitmap bits

The following sections describe each of these structures.
