Workplace Shell
Object-oriented user shell implemented by Presentation Manager in OS/2 Version 2.0. The Workplace Shell uses icons to represent objects such as files or devices, and allows the user to perform work tasks by directly manipulating these icons on the desktop with the mouse or keyboard.
