container object
An object in the SAA CUA Workplace Environment which allows logical grouping of objects in a manner determined by the user. A container object may contain work items, physical devices and/or other container objects. A new class of control window is implemented under OS/2 Version 2.0 to facilitate the creation and manipulation of containers.
