multiplexed streaming data mode
Mode of operation for 32-bit Micro Channel machines, whereby the streaming data mode is extended by using the 32 address lines, unused in transfer cycles after the first, for the transfer of data. This mode effectively provides a 64-bit data path, resulting in faster memory transfers.
