OS/2 Version 2.0 is designed to be installed over OS/2 Version 1.2, OS/2 Version 1.3, OS/2 Version 2.0 Limited Availability (LA), DOS, or Windows 3.0. No special considerations are necessary when carrying out such an installation. However, if Boot Manager is to be used, the machine's fixed disk might need repartitioning to make space for the Boot Manager partition. See Boot Manager for further information.
