SO/SI are removed and do not take positions
on the target, i.e. EBCDIC data is translated to ASCII in the normal way.
SO
SO and SI are translated
to 0EH and 0FH respectively.
SPACESO
SO
and SI are translated to SBCS spaces (20H).
Either of the last two could be of use for column-sensitive data to avoid
column distortion, which the default option NOSO causes because of
the SO/SI deletion.
